Puffy Letters for Little People
On April 14, 2021 by PamI created a set of puffy letters for my little friend, Mason (plus all the letters to spell Mom, Dad and Mason). When his sister, Charlotte arrived this spring, I decided to add her name to the collection. They are SO easy. Find fabric – I tried to pick fabric the matched the letter (airplanes for A, elephants for E, lines for L, etc.) but, it really doesn’t matter.
Make some bubble letter shapes that are about 5 x 5″.
Cut fabric squares (one for back and one for front) that are about 6 x 6″. Put a piece of batting between the front and back.
Trace the letter using a frixion pen.
Sew the pieces together around the shape of the letter. I sew it twice, just to reinforce it.
Use pinking sheers to cut around the outside of the letter shape and you are done.
