2022: The Year of the Sock
On January 4, 2022 by PamChristmas is over, the handmade gifts have been given and, guess what…it is time to think about Christmas 2022. What do you do when you are actually drowning in sock yarn? You knit socks and you start early because knitting a pair of socks for everyone on your list is a daunting task. Charles and I are committed (or maybe we should be committed) to knitting one pair of socks each month – for a total of 24 socks to give away next Christmas.
If you want to join us in our journey, here is the link to the pattern and we will give pattern support to anyone who needs it.
This pattern was designed by Charles and you can find it on ravelry.

So, if you are on my Christmas list, you might want to take a look at this pile of yarn and let me know which colour/design of socks you would like next year. You are getting socks, every one of you and they will come with care instructions so you don’t shrink them.

LOVE it!!!
I had done quite a bit of shawl/hat/cowl knitting with sock yarn and still have a lot left. Waiting for my chirpractor to give me the okay to knit regularly again but might commit to 6 pairs…hopefully
Happy New Year you two!
That is great! I will hope for happy news so that you can join our challenge. Your commitment might be a LOT MORE reasonable than mine! Let’s keep in touch and share the pictures of each others’ socks! Thanks for connecting – it is so important to stay positive and encouraging during these crazy times.
