My Finished Super-Large Sampler Quilt
On June 21, 2022 by PamToday was an amazing day! First of all, we have taken 4 days of vacation in Sarnia…with our bikes and beach gear…ready to relax…books and knitting and excellent food – and even some local theater later in the week. http://www.imperialtheatre.net/
Our first stop was a trip to Petrolia to pick up almost (only needs binding) quilt that has been long-arm quilted at Stitcharie. https://www.stitcharie.com/ The store is absolutely beautiful and I also purchased the fabric for the binding and the bed skirt. The quilt turned out so beautiful and the price was around $300 for a kind sized quilt. I used wool batting – which stays warm in winter and cool in summer. The top thread is sage green and the bottom thread is beige. The quilt is beyond expectations. If you need a quilt done, it is definitely worth the drive. The backing that I chose is perfect and the design looks exactly as a pictured it. This project has taken about 2 years to complete so, to have it turn out so incredible is such a huge relief. I will soon post pictures of it on my own bed – complete.
