My Summer Garden
On 2022-06-27 by PamFrom roses to daisies to tomatoes, raspberries and herbs, summer is a beautiful time. My garden is small and filled with mostly perennials. I have pots of geraniums and succulents around the pool and all my house plants have come outside for the season. Ferns hang and sit on the front porch and there are even some sunshine impatience in pots. I just finished my first round of jam – strawberry rhubarb and I know that sour cherries are just around the corner. It is time to start heading to the market on Saturday mornings to grab fruit and vegetables that are in season. These usually land on the grill with a little meat for dinner – protein and vegetables are the ideal dinner for a warm summer evening. I love all the seasons but, it is summer now and so, I revel in the beauty and take full advantage of the warmth of each day.
