September 2022 – My Reading List

On October 2, 2022 by Pam

Reading is definitely a habit for me – I love it in all forms. I have listed my books in order of preference. I have recently started to use the library again – The Fonthill Library – I am not buying as many books and I am finding some really amazing little hidden gems.

The Music Shop
by Rachel Joyce
A novel about learning how to listen and how to feel and about second chances and choosing to be brave despite the odds.

Things You Save in a Fire
by Katherine Center
Just a simple story about life, love, ad the true meaning of courage.

Undisruptable: A Mindset of Permanent Reinvention for Individuals, Organizations and Life
Aidan McCullen
Understand the barriers to change and cultivate a reinvention mindset that will help you with the volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity of our world of incessant change.

Cold, Cold Bones
By Kathy Reichs
A thriller that starts with a human eyeball on a porch.

The Wisdom of the Enneagram: The Complete Guide to Psychological and Spiritual Growth for the Nine Personality Types
by Don Richard Riso and Russ Hudson
This is NOT for the faint of heart – it is a definitive guide to using the wisdom of the enneagram for your own spiritual and psychological growth.

Sea of Tranquility
by Emily St. John Mandel
From Vancouver Island in 1912 to a dark colony on the moon three hundred years later….from exile to plague…to a deeper understanding of humanity.

The Long Drop
by Denise Mina
Psychological thriller – murder, innocence and guilt.

All Her Fault
by Andrea Mara
The story of one missing boy – gripping and twisted.

Pride and Prejudice and Zombies
by Seth Grahame-Smith and Jane Austen
Need a little comic relief? Ask my friend, Frank for a book. I think Jane Austen is rolling in her grave but, there are a lot of good laughs (purely from the craziness of the book) as you read.
