I would encourage any new crocheter to give them a try because they have a variety of stitches that you can add to your repertoire. You can also never go wrong with a dishcloth. I have been doing two of each because usually my second try corrects the mistakes of my first try. It is also fast – you can whip up one of these in any evening watching a movie. Part of my vision in life is to create with abandon – not caring if others feel it is worthwhile or even necessary. Life is great because when it comes to creating, you get to try and fail and just keep moving forward.
