I think it can honestly be said that no two people can knit, crochet or sew a project and have it turn out exactly the same. We all bring our own skill level, understanding of patterns and instructions, “eye” for colour and apply it to what we are doing. That is the “creativity” part of the arts – our own interpretation of what we are making, designing.
My most recent dishcloth is called “Morning Glories” and it is supposed to look like the flower…pictured below both in the pattern book and in “real” life…
My interpretation is below – I made the second one bigger because I thought the flowers were way to “squishy” on the dishcloth. You can spot lots of other changes but, you can always appreciate the beauty and design…
