Keep Moving, AlwaysOn May 23, 2023 by Pam
After our week in Quebec City, I started thinking about the importance of keep moving. We walked up and down hills to the tune of around 20,000 steps every day. We were totally fine – we had good shoes and we stayed hydrated and we are definitely in pretty good shape. We ride bikes and exercise regularly because we want to stay active into our 70’s and 80’s. So, it made me think about how important it is to stay moving…no matter what life throws at you!
When you are faced with a challenge – stay moving, always. Chisel and pick away at an obstacle until it is gone. Apply slow pressure and repeat from many angles.
– never be in a hurry, worried or desperate
– never be wedded to one position or idea
– never be bitter or embarrassed
– never stay out of the game for long
Think about what you can do today – the task at hand. Finish the smallest task you have in front of you right now and finish it well.
Always respond with hard work, honesty and helping others and ourselves the best that we can.
Choose right action that is unselfish, dedicated, masterful and creative.
We always have the choice to act right.
– from Obstacle is the Way by Ryan Holiday.
Keep moving…do what you can every day. You can always choose to take a walk, eat healthy, exercise, go outside and get some fresh air and live your best life!!
