A Year of Washcloths…The Oranges
On May 27, 2023 by PamThese two little oranges are a summer start to my washcloth challenge. They had this crazy stich called a “spike” to make the orange sections. They are the white lines that are in the picture. The spike stitch is wrapped, in this case, 7 times around the hook and then inserted in the stitches around the middle of the orange. The next step is to pull the stitches through 8 times to create the “spike” Learning and trying new things – like crochet stitches and patterns – keeps you focused on “moving forward” which is a favourite theme in my life. Have you tried something new today? You really should!!
