A Year of Dishcloths…Summer!
On June 19, 2023 by PamWith the 4th of July around the corner, I couldn’t resist trying my hand at the American flag pattern. The other to washcloths were made of thin cotton. I held two strands together for the blue and purple washcloths (called the Retro Ripple). The pattern called for stripes but, I adapted and used variegated cotton instead. At this point, I have completed 35 different washcloths and there are 75 different patterns in the book. I might have to speed up a bit if I want to complete everything by December. Crocheting with the thin cotton did slow me down quite a bit and the flag involves a lot of changing colours so, there is that…lol Hopefully, I find some simpler ones ahead that allow me to catch up…or I keep working into 2024. I love this project and so, I will definitely soldier on.
