How does YOUR garden grow?

I don’t have a huge lot. I grew up on a small farm with LOTS of room for gardens of all kinds. City spaces can easily accommodate beautiful gardens and I do my best – with containers and raised beds and by converting our front yard to mostly perennial garden (with very little grass). So, as summer moves forward, I fertilize every other week and sit outside every day enjoying the fruits of our labour. Right now, we are picking raspberries and herbs and using the lemon balm and mint to add to water and boil for tea. Very soon, we will have tomatoes and mouse melons and maybe even some peppers. Even if you have a small space, plant some flowers, buy a pot of herbs and add some beauty to your surroundings.

From hanging baskets, to the Christmas Poinsettia, to raised beds of herbs and vegetables…
