Holiday Fun with Dishcloths

On November 17, 2023 by Pam

I have completed 47 dishcloths from Spring to Winter this year…I have 5 to go before 2023 ends and I will definitely be able to do it. I have been reading a book on having a Positive Mindset. One of the quotes from the book is by Robert Brault and it says, “Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.” It may seem like a little thing to crochet 52 dishcloths (actually 104 because I did each one twice) but, in the end, they will be tucked in Christmas baskets for friends and neighbours and they will brighten somebody’s day…in my mind, a big thing.
Always be willing to put the time and effort into making your life the best it can be.
When you learn, teach. When you get, give. – Maya Angelou
Find what inspires you, and use it for other people’s good.
As Ralph Waldo Emerson says, “The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honourable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well.

Here are more of my creations…
