The FIRST Pair of Socks of 2024

The yarn for these socks was purchased in Lisbon, Portugal during our trip in September. The yarn shop was beautiful and all the yarn was sold by weight. The yarn was displayed on shelves behind the counter and the salesperson needed to climb the ladder and retrieve the yarn. It was an amazing experience to buy and an amazing experience to knit with it. Knitting socks has become a bit of a passion and so, I continue to knit a pair each month. This pair are for Charles – I want to keep the socks made from the yarn from our trip to Portugal. I have been using the same pattern for awhile – toe up socks but, I would actually like to try something different so, stay tuned.
