Hopping Down the Bunny Trail…

When you have a fireplace and a mantel, it is another opportunity to celebrate different seasons and holidays. This spring, I am adding some bunnies to my collection of mantel decor. This was a VERY simple project. I cut out 10 – sets of 2 bunny shapes out of spring and Easter fabrics. Placing them right sides together, I sewed them on the machine, leaving a space in the bottom to stuff them. Stuff the bunnies and hand sew the bottoms closed. Add a tail, bow and little flower button and a string on the back (I did all this with a hot glue gun). Hang them on a string (be sure to hang them high up high because the ears will prevent the bunnies from spinning around). This is a simple, fun spring decoration for your mantel.
