Can you sew a cute little TV watching quilt in a morning? Yes, you can! I gathered together the fabric, cut 35 – 6 inch squares, created a pattern and sewing it all together. I found some backing, put the front and backing right sides together and put batting on top, sewed it all together leaving a space to flip the blanket out. Next, I sewed around the outside edge – 1/8 inch seam to close in the spot where you flipped it out and all the way around to secure that edging. I completed the project by using “stitch in the ditch” down each of the 6 lines down and the four lines across. So fun, so easy and a great little gift for the birthday girl.
