Crochet a Pumpkin

This cute little pumpkin is easy to make and can be made with any thickness of yarn and any size crochet hook. It is a fun gift that you could add eyes and mouth to change into a jack-o-lantern. I definitely like to keep my hands busy while I am reading and watching TV and find a fun, new little project is great. You start by crocheting a flat piece of fabric, working back and forth. Then, you gather the sides to create a tube. After adding a few handfuls of fiberfill stuffing, you cinch the top and the bottom closed to create that signature pumpkin shape. Then you create a stem and add it – you can crochet a stem or use a small twig or even a cinnamon stick. The pattern has three different sizes of pumpkins – 4 inch, 5 inch or 7 inch.
