I have always said that one of my favourite parts of sewing or quilting is picking out fabric. With Thanksgiving and Hallowe’en around the corner, fabric stores have lots of fun fabric. So, I went looking for some fabric to use to cover some pillows – both for my porch and for my friend Jayde and her front porch. Sewing a pillow is a very straight forward project. I cut mine on the fold and made sure that they were slightly smaller than the actually pillow form (1/2 inch smaller) and I decided to add a zipper so that we can re-use the pillow forms for Christmas, Winter, Easter, Spring, etc. and continue to have fun decorating our porches. So, welcome Fall and welcome Pumpkin Pillows.
