Some “Middle of October” Dishcloths…
On 2024-10-16 by PamTime flies, as the saying goes. Thanksgiving has come and gone, the pool is closed for another year and I just had the winter tires put on our car. The seasons change and “time marches on”. How do you slow down and enjoy each moment? One way is to add some margin to each day so that when the unexpected hits you have time to deal with it. It is especially great to do this with your finances. Remember to pause when you start each day, don’t reach for your phone, just breathe. A good way to savour time is to slow down when you are eating, enjoy the food and the company and try not to race to the next things. Take a walk, be mindful when you are engaged in any activities. When you are doing chores, brushing your teeth or talking to your neighbour, savour the sunshine on your face and the actual experience you are having. Reflect, think, journal and make lists of important ideas and things that you want to accomplish. Take time to plan and live your very best life. Find a hobby that helps you slow down and look for ways to contribute to the world around you. Find beauty and peace in your world.
