Popcorn Dishcloths
On October 26, 2024 by PamThe “popcorn” stitch is simple – 5 double crochet stitches into the same stitch, pull up the last stitch and put the needle through the first double crochet of the 5 and pull the last stitch through – the stitch that is made looks like a kernel of popcorn. This dishcloth features the popcorn stitch.
Normally, I put these dishcloths in a basket and give them away but, these two are actually landing in my own drawer. I will use this a reminder that these beautiful, homemade dishcloths wear out after about 6 months. This means that you have to be a bit ruthless – use them hard and throw them out when you need to and then just ask me for more. I always have a stash.
For now, I will use my popcorn stitch dishcloths regularly in my kitchen.
