October 2024 Reading List
On November 1, 2024 by PamI am down to my last 35 books this year to reach my goal of 175 books by December 31st. Why do I read so much? The main reason that I read so much is because I want to listen to different perspectives. Whether I am reading fiction or non-fiction, I am reading someone’s perspective on history, on society, on gender, and so much more. I am sad about the world we live in now because we can’t seem to peacefully disagree or discuss, with wisdom, differing views. I want to have deep and passionate discussions about things that matter. I want to hear a different perspective. I want to be challenged and I want to be able to move forward my own thinking and the thinking of others. So, I keep reading and hoping to live in a world and gather individuals into my circle who want to talk deeply about issues and ideas.
