The Final 21 Books of 2024
On January 2, 2025 by PamI made it – 175 books in 2024. I have set a new goal for 175 books in 2025. I left my goal the same because that seems to be my personal “zone”. I want my goal to be achievable – it is about 15 books a month. I like to delve into some thick books and so any more than that would be very difficult.

The Book You Wish Your Parents Had Read (and Your Children Will Be Glad You Did) by Phillippa Perry
This book was up and down for me – there were a lot of good thoughts like, how your upbringing influences your parenting style and breaking negative cycles and patterns in interactions between you and your children. Some of her more direct advice (about family beds, etc.) did not sit with me but, that is all style. I enjoyed the read and, as always, when I read a non-fiction, I agreed with some and took the parts that made sense for my life and thinking.
