
Cottage Cheese – The New (old) Protein
On 2025-02-09 by PamLately, we have been eating a lot of cottage cheese – not straight but, rather mixed into baking and things like pancakes, etc. There are many delicious ways to eat cottage cheese. Cottage cheese helps fight cancer and diabetes, strengthens bones and boosts digestive health, boosts immunity and helps with weight loss and can even improve your vision. Finding new a delicious ways to eat cottage cheese can make a big difference to your overall health.
Cottage Cheese Pancakes
1 500 g tub of cottage cheese
4 eggs
1 cup of flour
1 teaspoon of vanilla
1 tablespoon of baking powder
I beat the eggs and cottage cheese (you can also do all of this in a blender) and then added the rest of the ingredients. They were delicious.
Cottage Cheese Breakfast Biscuits
4 eggs
500 grams of cottage cheese (1 tub)
2 teaspoons of baking powder
1 teaspoon of salt
500 grams of oats
Mix together, drop onto a lined baking pan and push down slightly. Bake at 400 F for 30 minutes.
They can be stored in the fridge for a week (or frozen for several weeks) and they are great re-heated in the oven or air fryer. You can use them to make breakfast sandwiches or just a little jam makes them delicious. You can also add bacon or herbs or cheese to the biscuits.
