February 2025 Book List
On 2025-03-02 by PamThis month…14 in 28 days. I always read a combination of fiction and non-fiction and I listen to, read physical books and read on my Kindle. I also take notes about books in my journal and I often use them on future podcasts. The major theme of the many non-fiction books that I read has been responsibility and accountability – we are responsible for ourselves, what we do, how we think and feel and how we live our lives. This seems to be a radical theme these days. I love reading all kinds of books and they have definitely changed and enhanced my life. I don’t always agree with every single word but, I love challenging my perspective and thinking outside the box.
Fiction
Downfall by Jeff Abbott
This is a spy thriller that is part of a series of books. I am really enjoying this author. Lots of action and suspense.
The Frozen River by Ariel Lawhon
A story of strength and hardship set in the 18th century, a midwife in Maine and her fight for women’s health and justice.
The Runaway Woman by Josephine Cox
Lucy finally stands up for herself. Her 40th birthday and the encouragement of her friend send her on a journey to find herself and a life that has purpose and joy.
Never Ask Me by Jeff Abbott
A story of intrigue and international adoption, murder and family and so much more.
A Mother’s Lie by Sarah Zettel
This is a story of con artists and lies and a past that haunts and violence and just plain craziness.
The Wise Women by Gina Sorell
A story of what it means to be honest, accept everyone for who they are and move past bad decisions and mistakes.
Non-Fiction
The Well-Lived Life: A 102-Year-Old Doctor’s Six Secrets to Health and Happiness at Any Age

This book reinforced to me, yet again, the importance of understanding and being aware of ourselves. That treating symptoms and illnesses is a band-aid and we need to look deeper at causation and prevention in order to live our best lives.
The Let Them Theory by Mel Robbins
