Spring Brings New Life and Hope…

These are troubling times to say the least. We are trying to buy Canadian, trust our leaders, stay calm and trust our leadership to carry us through. It is so important not to get carried away with “doom scrolling” and negativity but, rather cling to hope and optimism and realism.

We can change – when the stakes are high enough – and when we do, life can change.
I recently found this poem, written by Lucille Clifton called a “blessing for boats” and it spoke to me of these times – that we will come through.

may the tide
that is entering even now
the lip of our understanding
carry you out
beyond the face of fear
may you kiss
the wind then turn from it
certain that it will
love you back
may you open your eyes to water
water waving forever
and may you in your innocence
sail through this to that.
