The Very Hungry Caterpillar – Complete

The Very Hungry Caterpillar is a children’s book by Eric Carle. In the book, the caterpillar eats every day for a week…Monday – 1 apple, Tuesday – 2 pears, Wednesday – 3 plums, Thursday – 4 strawberries,
Friday – 5 oranges, Saturday – chocolate cake, ice cream cone, pickle, Swiss cheese, salami, lollipop, cherry pie, sausage, cupcake, watermelon and Sunday – one green leaf.

This project has been a labour of love and it is off to a Kindergarten class. It took me working on it every day for about 2 – 1/2 months to complete but, it was so worth it. The pattern is available for about $20 on Etsy by Castle of Cozy. I am really proud of how it turned out (as you can see by all the pictures)…
