Last week, the weather was SO warm that it inspired me to start setting some cycling goals for this week. I set a goal of 100 km between Sunday, March 23 and Saturday, March 29th. Then, our false spring ended. At this point, you have a decision to make, do you dress up and go for it or do you delay? I have decided to dress up and go for it. It was cold, but sunny and I went for it and I am so glad that I did. My heart rate went up, I felt a little cold and I rode pretty fast and I accomplished my first 11 km toward my goal. I am going to try for 20 km tomorrow and I am going to keep moving toward my goal. Sitting still is not an option – creating space for movement and fitness goals is imperative.
