Little Bunnies for Little Girls…
On 2025-04-08 by PamThis weekend, we are off to a birthday party for Mason, growing up so fast and already turning 6. At the party, there will be some little girls who need to have “unbirthday” presents. I created these little bunnies simply by cutting out the bunny shape, sewing wide around the outside, clipping with pinking shears, stuffing, sewing the bottom and then adding tail, bow and flower. Easy, fun, cute and can be made out of any little bits of fabric that you have. I started the “unbirthday” tradition when my children were small. Did it seem like spoiling the child who was not celebrating a birthday? I guess, maybe. I just decided it was kind. That one child who was getting LOTS of presents could share a moment to remember that being kind is always in style. I always believe that we need to celebrate each other and that if doing something feels right in your heart, you do it. Kindness doesn’t need too much thought, follow your heart and make a little child smile.
