Crocheting for Sale
On 2025-05-04 by PamThis year, I am going to contribute some of my homemade items to some local markets. My neighbour is embarking on a side business selling soaps and things so, I had decided to contribute some of my dishcloths/washcloths and socks to the table. I have done this before – very unsuccessfully – long story but, I am happy to add my items ad support my amazing neighbour in her endeavour. I am definitely not looking to make money but, just find a useful place (perhaps a combination of soap and a washcloth with a ribbon around it) to her table.
It is an example of not letting the past mar the future. I think I swore I would never participate in a market again, but life moves forward, we change and the negative feelings can be replaced with positive ones. Whenever something happens that doesn’t work out and you feel a bit of shame or guilt, your confidence takes a beating. However; chasing confidence is not how you find it. It is a by-product of a life spent focused on other things. So…push limits and endure some temporary discomfort, uncertainty and vulnerability. Don’t ever mistake failure for a final judgment. Take a moment, reflect and turn insights into action…and support your neighbour with her market by contributing some dishcloths… and maybe some jam.
