The Completed Super-Huge Log Cabin – Sampler Quilt

It is now ready to send to Stitcharie in Petrolia https://www.stitcharie.com/ to be made into a beautiful addition to our new bedroom. I will update you on wall colours, etc. This has been a project that has taken over two years. Without my amazing quilting group, Heather and Margaret and my cheerleader, Wendy, I would never have taken on this project. The final steps were to add the green, white and blue borders. The backing is purchased, the batting will be added (nice wool that will be cool in summer and warm in winter) and it will be long-arm quilted. The final step will be to add the binding – I am so happy with the result. A labour of love that has been worth all the effort.
