March 2025 Book List
W e are 25% through 2025 and I am 28% through my goal of 175 books. I enjoy reading both fiction and non-fiction. I believe in listening to and reading books. Reading makes a HUGE difference in my life. It brings me relaxation and perspective, it introduces me to ideas and history and it moves me forward. I would encourage everyone to make time for at least one hour of reading every day. When I am with little children, I always take time to read a pile of books with them and I encourage children to independently read. When our children were small, we allowed them to “read” in their beds at night. We would first read stories with them, and then as they grew older, chapter books. After we read together, we would allow them to bring a pile of books or magazines into their beds, read until the timer went off and then turn out their lights and go to sleep. Reading makes you stand out – it brings connection and conversation.
