The 2025 Reading Challenge
I have completed my 2025 Reading Challenge through Goodreads today – 2 days before the end of this year. I read 175 books and so, I took a look at some of the statistics on Goodreads about my reading challenge.
I read 4 of the top 12 books read this year: The Housemaid, The Wedding People, Great Big Beautiful Life and The Crash.
I read 4 of the top 12 fiction read this year: The Wedding People, Yellowface, My Friends and Here One Moment.
I read 7 of the top 12 historical fiction: The Women, James, The Frozen River, Lessons in Chemistry, Demon Copperhead, The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo and The Briar Club
I read 6 from the Mystery/Thriller category: The Housemaid, The Crash, The God of the Woods, The Boyfriend, None of This is True, All The Colors of the Dark
Out of the top 12 fantasy, I read: The Midnight Library and Before the Coffee Gets Cold
It was fun to see the variety of books that I read this year.
